Diversified FMCG conglomerate CavinKare has announced the appointment of Nellaiappan Thiruambalam as the new Director and CEO of its Personal Care and Foods Division. In addition to this, Thiruambalam will also be heading the company’s International Business and Strategic Alliances.
Thiruambalam joins CavinKare from Heinz India, bringing in three decades of work experience in the consumer goods segment as well as institutional and commercial spaces in India, Asia and across the globe. He has held management positions and has immensely contributed in majors such as GSK, GE Lighting and Heinz India. He was CMD of Heinz India prior to joining CavinKare.
Commenting on Thiruambalam’s appointment, CK Ranganathan, Chairman and Managing Director, CavinKare said, “We are very happy that Thiruambalam has joined us at our Mumbai office. As is known, CavinKare’s brand portfolio consists of shampoos (Chik, Meera, and Nyle), fairness creams (Fairever), deodorant and talc (Spinz), pickles & snacks (Ruchi, Chinni’s and Garden), hair colours (Indica), beverages (Maa), dairy (Cavin’s), and beauty salons (Limelite and Green Trends).
