Carat Media has appointed Rajni Menon has as Associate Vice President for its Mumbai office. Prior to this, she was with ZenithOptimedia. Menon will report into Kartik Iyer, Managing Director, Carat India.
Speaking on the appointment, Iyer said, “We are delighted to have Rajni on board. Her vast experience with special focus on buying would definitely prove to be a great asset to Carat. We see her playing a major role in further improving the Strategic Investment planning for the entire agency and specifically contributing to the business development efforts in Mumbai.”
Menon brings over 10 years of work experience in media planning, buying and other functions. At ZO, she was a Director. Prior to that, she was leading the buying services for Unilever at Fulcrum. During the tenure at GroupM (CTG) she had been responsible for the strategic investments of brands like PepsiCo, Motorola, Castrol and Onida amongst other.
Menon has also worked with other agencies like Lintas Media Group, McCann Erickson and Madison Media handling the planning and buying for brands like Maruti Suzuki, Coca Cola, Reckitt Benckiser, Gillette and Bacardi.
