BusinessWorld’s Vijaya Saran, Dainik Bhaskar’s Subhashis Roy roped in for Outlook’s new business magazine

Having announced the launch of its new business magazine in March, 2006, the Outlook Group is now busy hiring the best talents available. Already BusinessWorld’s Vijaya Saran and Dainik Bhaskar’s Subhashis Roy have been roped in for the new magazine’s sales function.

Confirming the development, Maheshwar Peri, Publisher, Outlook Group, said, “Vijaya will be the National Head, Advertising, for our new business magazine, while Subhashish will look after the West Zone.”

Prior to this, Saran was the Regional Head, North, All India Event Sales for ABP Group’s BusinessWorld, where she was for 11 years. At Outlook, she will be directly reporting to Peri. Saran will take on her new responsibility in January 2006.

Though Roy is currently with the Bhaskar Group, Peri made no secret of the fact that it was his experience prior to that with Business Today that made him the choice for the western responsibilities of the new business magazine. Roy had spent five years with Business Today before joining Dainik Bhaskar.

On her part, Saran is excited, “My job at Outlook is based on a new project, which is always interesting to take charge of. I will be handling events, ad marketing and Internet for Outlook’s new business magazine.”

As is known, Outlook’s forthcoming magazine is in the business and investment space and will give a holistic view of the business and economic environment, corporate strategy, markets and investments.
