Brand Portrait Digital ropes in Vikram Prabhu to head its digital content
Brand Portrait Digital, an associate company of Brand Portrait, a Chennai-based advertising agency, has announced the appointment of Vikram Prabhu as Head-Digital Content. Prabhu will play an integral role in shaping the company’s mobile and digital content portfolio.
He will be responsible for deploying content on the 3636 platform and on the various media networks that the digital media arm of the Chennai based advertising agency has created. In addition, Prabhu will oversee the creation and acquisition of content for the mobile and digital space and explore alliances with content owners and mobile service providers.
Commenting on Prabhu’s appointment, Sunil Nair, CEO, Brand Portrait Digital, said, “Vikram has previously worked with Hangama.com as their Head-Mobile Content, and in Rediff.com, where he was looking after content and alliances. He is a unique mix of backgrounds, and has adequate experience in leading programming and mobile content.”
“We are a communications consulting firm that firmly believes in giving more value to clients and result oriented advice. With Vikram on board, Brand Portrait Digital is poised to take a big leap in the mobile and digital content portfolio. We can now also look at content through brand and concepts perspective,” Nair further said.
Prior to joining Brand Portrait Digital, Prabhu was with FBC Media, a leading UK-based television production house, as Creative Director (Head of Fiction) on various fiction and non-fiction projects. He has also worked on the online business development activity of a crossover English feature film produced by Lightforms and directed by Shashanka Ghosh.
Brand Portrait Digital, which was set up a little over three months ago, has already bagged quite a few clients, including Verizon, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Dhanus, V-Tel, Attest (an Aptech company), and Colorado-based restaurant Chutney’s.
