Deven Dharamdasani has quit Blazar, where he was Business Head. He is starting his own venture in the mobile space.

When contacted by exchange4media, Dharamdasani refrained from divulging further details on his new venture, except sharing that it was slated for launch in February 2012.

He had joined Smile Interactive Technology Group in 2004, which later named their media services as Quasar Media in 2005, and during his tenure became one of the founding members of the team. He was given the responsibility to launch Quasar Media’s second agency, Blazar, as its Business Head in 2009.

He has over a decade’s experience in digital spectrum and specialises in setting up processes and marketing strategies for clients to help them move up the digital marketing curve. He had earlier worked as Marketing Manager at The Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills Ltd.
