Bhaskar group announces changes in senior echelon

There is some action coming in the senior squad of the Bhaskar Group. In the process of its annual rotation, the group has reassigned duties to a few of its key people. Sharing more on this, Girish Agarwal, Director, Marketing, Bhaskar Group elaborates the changes made in the organisation.

Harish Bhatia, Vice President, Marketing & Operations, moves from Ahmedabad where he was heading Gujarat State Operations and takes charge of West Zone Operations for Dainik Bhaskar’s media products. He will be stationed at Mumbai. “Harish brings with him a varied experience and knowledge of markets after extensively working in Indian/Korean MNC’s like LG,” informs Agarwal.

“He was responsible for the launch of Door Cooling Refrigerators in India before joining Bhaskar.”

With Bhaskar, other than the recent responsibilities in Gujarat, he had earlier headed Rajasthan operation for more than 2 years.

Sanjay Bhatla, Sr General Manager moves to head Divya Bhaskar Operation in West Zone. Before joining Bhaskar group, he was DGM with Videocon Ltd. in their corporate marketing cell. He has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing with established electronic brands like Kelvinator, Samsung & LG Electronics. During his stint with electronic industries he has headed premium branches at different locations including Mumbai & Ahmedabad.

Sudhir Vohra, Sr General Manager is given the charge of Divya Bhaskar Operation in North Zone. Before his new assignment he was stationed at Bhopal overseeing the central operations. He too has an experience of more than 20 years in FMCG sector.

Eric D’Souza, General Manager has some more to handle in his new role as Head, Special Projects and Market Development for Bhaskar Group of Companies. “Eric is an old hand and one of the most senior employees at Bhaskar Group,” says Agarwal. He will be stationed at Mumbai corporate office.
