Bhaskar Ghosh joins Rediffusion Y&R Delhi as Branch Head

Bhaskar Ghosh has been roped in as Branch Head at Rediffusion Y&R Delhi. He will be reporting to Amitava Sinha, COO, Rediffusion Y&R. Ghosh’s last assignment was as Senior Vice President - Account Management at Contract Advertising, Delhi, where he was working since 2005 on accounts like Domino’s Pizza, NIIT, Ten Sports and Google.

Commenting on Ghosh’s appointment, Amitava Sinha said, “With Bhaskar coming on board, we now have a strong leadership in place in Delhi. Going forward, our focus will be on making Rediffusion Delhi the destination agency for both clients and talent by fostering a culture of both creative and strategic excellence.”

D Rajappa, President, Rediffusion Y&R, added here, “Delhi is an important growth market and I am confident that Bhaskar will be able to deliver value to our clients through his impeccable pedigree in handling diverse categories of brands. His focus will be to be a trusted advisor for our brands and help the brands take a leap in the communication space.”

In his 18-odd years in advertising, Ghosh has garnered valuable experience on several brands, across categories, including Nokia, Coca-Cola, Sony, Dabur, SpiceJet, India Today and The Hindustan Times during his stints with TBWA, Leo Burnett, Bates and Grey.

On his new role, Ghosh said, “I am quite excited and looking forward to both the opportunities and challenges that come with this new role. The need to build a strong understanding of client businesses and brands will be one of the key things one would like to focus on. And in the process deliver some meaningful work, together with colleagues in the agency. My personal belief is true glory comes to any agency only through effective solutions for brands.”

Key clients at Rediffusion Y&R, Delhi include MTS, LG Electronics, Amway, GPI, NourishCo and Paras Dairy.
