Ashwini Singla appointed CEO, South Asia, for Penn Schoen Berland

Ashwini Singla, CEO, Genesis Burson-Marsteller (GBM), has been appointed as CEO, South Asia, of Penn Schoen Berland (PSB) and is taking charge of his new role with immediate effect. With this new appointment, he joins the global leadership of PSB.

Due to this appointment, Singla has to remit his role of CEO, GBM.

“We hope to launch the service by January 2011, but I take on the new role effective immediately,” said Singla.

Founded in 1975, PSB, a unit of the WPP Group, is a global research-based consultancy that specialises in messaging and communications strategy for blue-chip political, corporate and entertainment clients.

PSB collaborates with Burson-Marsteller to help global clients win by delivering an integrated strategic communications approach that is customized for each client's unique situation and needs.

Prema Sagar, Principal and Founder of Genesis PR, will continue to lead the company.
