Arnab Ghosh joins Godfrey Phillips India

Arnab Ghosh has joined Godfrey Phillips India Ltd (GPI) as General Manager – Marketing. His appointment is effective from May 19, 2011. In GPI, he would be responsible for leading the marketing effort for the Chewing products business to ensure that brands deliver to their potential. Ghosh will report to Vikas Arora, VP, who heads the chewing business in GPI.

Speaking to exchange4media on his role in GPI, Ghosh said, “It is a very interesting and a challenging assignment. Given the fact that the brands have been developed in house, and they are relatively new in the PLC, hence there are enough opportunities to experiment and explore in terms of delivering a superior consumer experience.”

Prior to this, he was with Pernod Ricard India as AGM - Marketing. Ghosh had joined Pernod Ricard India in October 2003.

With over 14 years of experience in the marketing domain, Ghosh has been working for various MNCs within the FMCG business. He has also served as Area Business Head, India at ChupaChups SA and Sales Manager - Consumer at Oman United Agencies.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
