Anil Dhupar is back in Nai Duniya as President, after a stint with the Bhopal-based Hindi daily Raj Express. Nai Duniya is a 58-year-old Hindi daily, with a presence in Indore, Bhopal and Gwalior. Dhupar had earlier joined Nai Duniya in September 2005 as CEO, where he spent six months. He then joined Sahara Samay, before moving to Raj Express.
Dhupar said, “Yes, I have joined Nai Duniya as President. In Raj Express, my core area was marketing, while my thrust area in Nai Duniya would be local retail and corporate sales.”
“Nai Duniya is growing in the markets of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Our main aim would be to increase the marketing outlet of the publication. We are also on the process of working on the Jabalpur market,” added Dhupar.
Dhupar is a Science and Law graduate from the University of Indore. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in mass management (PGDMM) from IGNOU, Indore. Dhupar started his career in sales at JK Tyres, where he spent seven years. After another five years at Wearwell Tyres, Dhupar moved to the media industry.
Dhupar joined the Dainik Bhaskar Group in 1990 and worked there for 16 years. He initially looked after the Bhopal unit as General Manager for two years. He was Senior Vice President at the time of leaving the organisation.
