Amit Sharma moves to TIC as Head, Business Development

Senior advertising and media professional Amit Sharma has moved to the TIC Group as Head – Business Development, leaving Candid Marketing Service where he was serving as Head – Client Servicing and Business Development.

Confirming the news to exchange4media.com, Sharma said that he had decided to quit on professional grounds within six months of his association with Candid. “The firm failed to justify its business for respective clients. Added to this was the moving out of Lotus from the kitty. This had spelt doomsday for the company,” he felt.

And what drove him to the TIC Group? Perhaps it is the client profile. The Delhi-based integrated marketing services organisation, specialising in providing turnkey marketing solutions, has a bouquet of clients like BILT, American Express, General Motors, GPI, Ford and Honda among others. “It would be interesting to handle such clients, Sharma responded.

In his over nine years of professional stint at various places, he also served as the Vice President, Business Development and Operations at Lowe and Partners Worldwide, Bahrain. At TIC, Sharma would be accompanied by three of his former colleagues of managerial level from Candid.
