Adarsh Mishra made Head of Circulation, DNA

Adarsh Mishra has been promoted as Associate Vice-President, DNA, effective August 1, 2010. In his new role, he will continue working with the Sales and Market Development (SMD) team and will be heading circulation for the Mumbai edition. He was previously General Manager, SMD at DNA.

Mishra has been associated with DNA since its inception and has over 17 years’ experience in circulation with newspapers such as Indian Express, Lokmat and Ananda Bazar Patrika. In his new role, he will be reporting to KU Rao, CEO, DNA.

Confirming the developing to exchange4media, Mishra said, “We are a constantly growing product in the Mumbai market, which I believe is one of the most important markets in India. I have been assigned the circulation department (SMD). We are fighting a pitched battle with our competitors in a very fierce market. I hope that DNA will soon come up as the strongest brand in Mumbai. There is a huge gap in our competitor’s perception and the reality of their market position.”
