Out-Of-Home agency AD’s World has appointed Varun Sachar as Head, Asset Management Group. The division has been formed recently. Sachar is reporting to Ajay Dhawan, Founder and CEO, AD’s World.
Said Dhawan, “Sachar has over 26 years of experience into direct sales. I am sure his experience will translate substantial revenues for the organisation. Besides, he will be able to manage and set up the entire division for us to grow further in the asset management domain.”
Sachar started his career in office automation. He has been involved in selling advertising space in print publications. He has worked with a British company called Reed Elseiver as General Manager, Sales and Marketing, for around five years. Prior to taking up his new assignment at AD’s World, Sachar was associated with an American firm called Thomas International Publishing Company for a period of seven years as General Manager, Sales and Marketing.
Sachar said, “Asset management is a new concept. The scope and opportunity in this medium is the primary reason for me to take up the new role.”
The Asset Management Group at AD’s is a separate business unit within the same umbrella having its own top and bottom line targets. The group has the sole advertising rights for branding on all Air Deccan aircrafts. The branding takes place on the body of the aircraft as well as on the inside — on luggage bins, food tray tables, stepladders and coaches. The group also provides advertisers with options of advertising on day and night sky balloons, backlit mobile kiosks, as well as walking and ground inflatables.
Redefining the marketing strategy for launching a new concept in the market is one of the challenges that Sachar is looking forward to in his new role.
