Neo Sports has appointed Abhishek Verma as Head of Marketing and Communications for its two channels, Neo Cricket and Neo Sports. He will be overseeing the marketing of all the business verticals for these two channels. Prior to this appointment, Verma was with Sony Entertainment Television, heading the marketing division of SAB.
Commenting on Verma’s appointment, Akash Khurana, Director, Neo Sports, said, “With Abhishek’s appointment, we are in an even stronger position to deliver on our objective of becoming a leader in marketing sports across media internationally and augmenting our already proven track record of a premium media and entertainment company.”

Prior to SAB, Verma, who has an experience of over 10 years in media, Internet and CRM, was associated with Discovery Channel as Marketing Manager. He had also worked with a Singapore-based CRM consultancy, SurfGold, where he had created loyalty marketing programmes for blue-chip clients such as Tommy Hilfiger, FedEx, Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard, as Head of Client Services.
