Aaj Tak’s Punya Prasun Bajpai joins Sahara Samay as Editor-in-Chief

Punya Prasun Bajpai, former Executive Editor with Aaj Tak, has joined Sahara Samay as Editor-in-Chief. This was confirmed by the office of Sahara Samay Media. Prior to joining Aaj Tak, Bajpai was associated with NDTV India. However, neither Sumit Roy, Head of Sahara Media & Entertainment, nor Bajpai could be contacted at the time of filing the report.

Bajpai had won the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award in 2005-06. He was presented the ‘Regional Award – Hindi’ in the Broadcast section.

Meanwhile, Sahara Samay has made a few other appointments. Former STAR News Political Editor Ajay Singh has been roped in as an Executive Producer, while NDTV India’s NP Singh has come on board as Senior Executive Producer.
