141Sercon makes two senior level appointments

Continuing with its quest to bring the finest talent onboard, integrated marketing services company 141Sercon has made two senior level appointments in its Mumbai office. Nidhi Sharma joins as Assistant Vice President, Business Development, while Arpana Nair joins as Regional Director, Operations.

While Sharma will be responsible for the overall growth and evolution of the business, Nair would ensure timely execution of plans and proper utilisation of resources. Earlier, this year, 141Sercon had appointed Abhijit Lahiri as AVP – North & East.

These appointments come at a time when the company is in a state of aggressive expansion and plans to add many more Asian locations to its existing string of offices in 16 countries. This move would further strengthen the South-West operations of the company.

On the new appointments, Vijay Singh, Managing Director, 141Sercon, said, “We are very happy to have Nidhi and Arpana as part of our leadership team. Their vast experience and expertise will help steer the direction of our operations in the West and help exploit the vast growth potential in the region.”

Sharma has been working in the activation industry for past 8-9 years and has contributed to brands like Pogo, Cartoon Network, Maybelline, Playstation, and Reliance World, and even won a Gold at the WOW Awards 2009 for brand activation activities for Castrol Formula Gel.

On joining 141Sercon, she said, “Being with 141Sercon is like completing the circle and adding to the knowledge bank of activation that I have experienced so far. An agency with its gene pool will not only be a challenging, but a growth aggressor for the industry as a whole and my own self individually.”

Nair comes with nine years of experience in the field of operations and has been associated with brands such as Cadbury’s, Revlon, Colors and ITC to name a few. “141Sercon has a strong commitment to providing optimum marketing solutions with a difference. I am excited to be a part of this vibrant organisation that is often known in the industry as the change agency and hope to further consolidate its position as the best brand activation company in the country,” she said.
