141 Sercon appoints Tanujaa Pandey as head of MICE business

141 Sercon, the below-the-line marketing arm of Bates David Enterprise, has appointed Tanujaa Pandey to head its MICE business. Pandey comes with 14 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry and has worked with organisations such as P&O Travel & Cruises, Cox & Kings, Thomas Cook, and Sahara.

Commenting on Pandey’s appointment, Vijay Singh, Managing Director, 141 Sercon, said, “Tanujaa’s rich experience in the tourism industry makes her an ideal candidate to build our operation in the MICE business.”

He added, “Talent management is a key element in 141 Sercon’s ongoing successes in the region. We aim to give all employees the opportunity and support to realise their career expectations.”

Pandey said, “Working in the tourism industry for long and specialisation in MICE business has given me the experience of building capability and evolving the service portfolio in a landscape.”

She has also worked as a freelance consultant with several well-known event management companies on MICE projects. Pandey has a Masters in German language and started her career as a German interpreter on international conferences in 1994. Then onwards, she moved to the tourism industry and specialised in MICE.
