123greetings, an IntraSoft Technologies venture, has beefed up its senior management team in North India with two new appointments – Mohan Anand has been appointed as Regional Head, Ad Sales (North) while Ashish Wahal has been brought in as VP - Ad Sales (North). Ashish Wahal comes in from Times Internet Ltd, where he was taking care of their auto portal (Zigwheels.com) in the North as a Senior Manager.

Prior to joining 123Greetings.com, Mohan Anand was National Ad Sales Head Head for TimesJobs.com, MagicBricks.com and SimplyMarry.com at Times Business Solutions Ltd. At 123Greetings.com, he will be driving the next level of growth in Ad Sales for the company and will be responsible for setting up the sales team in the North.Anand had also worked with media houses like Indian Express, Malayala Manorama, Sify, Zee News and Times Group.

On his new role, Anand said, “123Greetings.com has been a benchmark player in expression of emotions worldwide and this is the most happening time to get associated with the group. I have to set up a competent ad sales team and to motivate them to work towards the organisational objectives and to provide immediate solution to the marketing and advertising needs of our business associates.”

Confirming the development, Vishnu Kant Gokul, National Ad Sales Head, 123Greetings.com, said, “We believe 123Greetings.com is poised for the next phase of growth within the digital space and are delighted to have Mohan on board to drive ad sales in the North. His experience in offline and online media sales and his leadership record is ideal, positioning him well to take the Ad Sales business in Northern India forward.”

On his new role, Wahal said, “My objective is to grow the business in the North by implementing effective solutions that meet customer needs, with an aim to improving customer contentment, and consequently, customer loyalty.”

Wahal had started his career in 1997 with Tata Press Ltd (now Infomedia18). He had worked with Rediff.com in 2006-07, before joining Sify.com as Manager, Ad Sales.
