The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) unanimously re-elected Jawahar Goel of Zee Telefilms as its President for the second successive year. The election was conducted at the eighth annul general meeting of the foundation held in the Capital on September 21. The meeting also elected the following office bearers: while KVL Narayan Rao of NDTV is the new Vice President, I Venkat of Eenadu TV is the Honorary Treasurer of the foundation.

The board members are BS Lalli, CEO, Prasar Bharati; Chintamani Rao, CEO, India TV; Deepak Shourie, MD, Discovery India; G Krishnan, CEO & Executive Director, TV Today; Kunal Dasgupta, CEO, SET India; Mahesh Prasad, Council Director, Sahara TV; Markand Adhikari, Vice-Chairman & MD, Shri Adhikari Brothers; RC Venkateish, MD, ESPN Software India; and Uday Shankar, CEO & Editor, Star News. The new board members are Haresh Chawla, CEO, Network18; Paritosh Joshi, President of Advertising Sales & Distribution, Star India; and Siddharth Jain, Vice President, South Asia, Turner.
