The sixth edition of exchange4media’s annual OOH Conference and NEONS Awards culminated with the declaration of the winners of the coveted awards at a glittering ceremony in Gurgaon recently.
In all, 52 awards were given away (including Popular Choice and Excellence Awards), which saw Milestone Brandcom and Mondelez International emerge among top winners. The total metals given away tallied at 17 Gold, 16 Silver and 12 Bronze (not including the excellence awards)
Speaking to exchange4media, the winners spoke about how much these awards mean to them.
Nabendu Bhattacharyya, CEO & Managing Director, Milestone Brandcom, said, “Our short list itself was forty plus and that actually spoke about the work we have done for our clients. It’s a great and fantastic moment for me.”
Deepa Gupta, Head West Region, Madison OOH shared her feelings as they won the award for ‘Play With Oreo’ campaign under the category of Best Outdoor Plan Strategy. She said, “With the kind of efforts that team has put in, the kind of innovation and the kind of planning for this particular brand, it has finally paid off.”
While Jayesh Yagnik, CEO, Madison Outdoor Media Solutions, added, “OOH is a three to five second medium, you have to put the right thing in the right place, you are going to get noticed and people will appreciate it. I am thankful to the jury for awarding us with gold and silver metals.”
On Winning the Best Outdoor plan for The Big Billion Days, Geetika Gulati, Director, Alakh Advertising said, “We are happy that our work has got recognised, it marks a high for the client and it’s a high for us too.”
Adding to that, Neeta Gulati of Alakh Advertising stated, “It’s an amazing experience to get an award for something we have put in a lot of hard work for.”
Abdul Kadar Shaikh, Founder of Roshanspace Brandcom, who was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award, said, “I started with two hoardings in Mumbai in 1980’s and today my dream is fulfilled and it is a great feeling to get this recognition.”
