TVS Motors retains Serve & Volley Media as AoR for Southern markets

Bangalore-based specialist OOH agency Serve & Volley Media has been retained as AoR by TVS Motors for the Southern states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Goa, for a period of 12 months. Serve & Volley had first won this business following a multi-agency pitch in 2005. The size of the business could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.

“This win is an important one for us as both TVS and Serve & Volley share a rich history together. South is an important market for us. In terms of billings, we would be among the top 10 agencies in the South and definitely among the top three, if one excludes agencies with telecom AoRs,” said J Vishwanath, COO, Serve & Volley.

Commenting on the win, a Serve & Volley spokesperson said, “This win shows that even in today’s fragmented and rapidly changing scenario, clients will respect and reward good work. The ability of the agency to provide cutting edge innovative solutions was a key factor in retaining this business.”

Speaking on the win, Vijay Cavale, VP, Serve & Volley, said, “We have generally been regarded as an agency that does good outdoor campaigns, and the signing of AoRs was the next step. Recently, we have won several businesses in multi-agency pitches and have done national and regional campaigns for key brands including Royal Challenge, Coca-Cola, Asianet, Toyota , Radico Diageo, etc., and each one of our clients return to us for repeat business. So I suppose signing AoRs is the next step for us.”
