Times OOH has managed to grab a prime slot in the Mumbai Airport. The OOH division of the Times Group has set up two 440 sq ft LED video matrix at the Mumbai Airport, which have created quite a buzz. While one LED screen has been installed at the arrival terminal, the other, an indoor LED screen, has been put at the departure area for private airlines.
Elaborating on the video wall, Times OOH, CEO, Farid Kureshi, said, “This is the first time a moving image is available to the advertisers. Each LED cost us Rs 3 crore. We will do monthly bookings. There will be maximum advertisers who can advertise at one go and CPT (cost per thousand) is very effective and is Rs 60-70 per 10 seconds.”
Kureshi further said that each advertiser would get a 30-second commercial slot. “We are running the commercial from 5 am till 1 am. This LED technology allows an advertiser to run his commercials on the outdoor media, which today is restricted by only a static display. The airport area is perfect for all brands that are targeting Sec A, Sec B. Also, no other such static or video display is available in the Mumbai Airport,” he added.
Kureshi further said that since the LED screens had been put up only on January 15, talks were currently on with advertisers, who would be announced soon.
