South Central Railway invites tenders for ad rights within Hyderabad division
South Central Railway has invited sealed tenders offering display advertisement rights at various locations within the Hyderabad division. These rights will be offered for a period of three years, which can be extended for a further period of two years.
Successful bidders shall be allowed to display advertisements through glow signs, display boards on station platforms, hoardings in the circulating area and approaches to major stations, unipoles/ uni-structures, CCTV s and LED TVs in earmarked areas. The EMD required ranges from Rs 3,310 to Rs 496,500.
The total display area being offered is approximately 3.5 lakh sq. ft. Out of which, an area of 23,650 sq. ft has been allocated for 13 railway stations; 5,000 sq. ft for one MMTS railway station; 10,000 sq. ft for two headquarters areas; 47,000 sq. ft for approaches to major railway stations; 10,560 for 11 RUBs; 14,400 sq. ft at nine locations for unipoles/ uni-structures; 183,000 sq. ft for various trains; and 62,000 sq. ft space for LC gates.
Also, 65 CCTV sets, 10 LED TVs and four dangler balloons are being allotted for advertisement displays at different locations.
As per the specifications given in the tender document, the reserve price, EMD, cost of the tender forms would be different for each location/ area/ item. The applicants will have to submit individual tenders for each location/ area/ item.
The contract shall initially be awarded for a period of three years. The license fee from second year onwards shall bear an annual escalation of 10 per cent over the previous year.
Tender forms with detailed terms and conditions can be obtained from the office of the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, South Central Railway, Secunderabad, on any working day up to 1 pm on November 22, 2010.
The applicable EMD will have to be deposited through a demand draft favouring the Senior Divisional Finance Manager, Hyderabad division, South Central Railway, Secunderabad.
Duly completed tender forms will have to be submitted latest by 3 pm on November 23, 2010. The tenders will be opened the same day at 3.30 pm.
