Rajul Kulshreshtha quits Kinetic Worldwide

Rajul Kulshreshtha has put in his papers as Managing Director, India at Kinetic Worldwide. He is currently serving his notice period with the company. While Kulshreshtha could not be contacted at the time of filing this report, industry sources have confirmed the development to exchange4media.

He had taken on the role of Managing Director at Kinetic Worldwide in 2010. Under Kulshreshtha’s leadership, the company bagged several businesses and projects in the year and also took some important steps such as the release of Moving World India, a study done on the changing out of home (OOH) industry and consumer behaviour in context to OOH.

Kulshreshtha has been with the WPP and GroupM side since 1994. It may be recalled that in June 2006, he was elevated to the Managing Director’s post for Motivator. He spearheaded Motivator’s pan India role for five years. Prior to that, in May 2004, he was General Manager, GroupM, Team LG.

As the head of Team LG, Kulshreshtha played a key role in building the operations. He has vast experience in strategic media planning and buying in India, Indonesia and Singapore, and earlier has worked with major agencies such as Universal McCann and ZenithOptimedia.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
