Platinum Outdoor executes OOH campaign for Blackberry

Size does matter, especially for Platinum Outdoor’s latest OOH campaign executed for Blackberry. Billboards have been put up at Mohali in Punjab to announce the launch of Idea Cellular’s Blackberry services. These billboards sport a giant Blackberry handset that revolves about its own axis, grabbing eyeballs.

The campaign duration is for one month and is being undertaken in one location only.

Speaking on the campaign, Gour Gupta, COO, Platinum Outdoor, said, “Idea Cellular has been at the forefront of unusual outdoor advertising ever since it launched its services in Punjab. Making the handset the hero, the unique OOH display combines a static, unipolar hoarding with a rotating replica of the handset which is giant sized.”

Lokesh Kumar, VP & Business Director, Platinum Outdoor, added, “Outdoor is a key constituent in the media mix, and in this case, we have changed the media format itself. That was a challenge.”
