Media Mindscapes, a Bangalore-based, four-and-a-half-year-old out-of-home advertising agency, has opened its third office in New Delhi. Mohammad Adil Khan has been brought in as Regional Head, while Sonu Poddar will be looking after client servicing. They both join from October 7.
Said Media Mindscapes’ Joint Partner, Pratik Sen, “We are really happy to open our office in Delhi. It is going to cater to all its clients based in the northern region and will also be looking after developing new media options in the region.”
Khan has been appointed to head the Delhi office and has been given the responsibility of making the branch an independent profit centre. He will be handling new business as well as the Suzuki OOH account on behalf of Grey Worldwide. He moves in from Clear Channel India, where he was Manager for one year for the Delhi branch. Before Clear Channel he was Assistant Manager-North with Katha Media (the outdoor advertising arm of the Sahara Group).
Sonu Poddar, who has been roped in as Client Servicing Executive, moves in from Prime Outdoor, Bangalore.
Commenting on his appointment, Khan said, “The reason I am joining Media Mindscapes is that they have a good international clientele. They were the first Indian agency to break the ‘Incredible India’ international campaign. There are good opportunities for growth and I am looking forward to my stint here.”
He further said, “The organisation has planned to invest a substantial amount in this region for new media development. They have already acquired two foot overbridges in Ludhiana for five years.”
Media Mindscapes is also looking for a regional manager, client servicing, to handle their main clients in Delhi as well as the Northern region in addition to looking after new business development.
Among Media Mindscapes’ clientele are Arvind Brands, LIC Housing Finance, Colgate-Palmolive India, Anchor Daewoo Electronics, and GE Countrywide. The agency also handles all OOH activities for Grey Worldwide.
