Orissa Tourism calls for bids for hiring hoardings

The Orissa Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) Ltd has invited offers under ‘technical bids’ and ‘price bids’ from advertising agencies and media owners for hiring hoardings at selected locations for a period of one year. The EMD required is Rs 5,000.

The locations specified for these hoardings include those at Rajmahal Square, Master Canteen Square, Airport Square, Ram Mandir Square, Vani Vihar Square, Jayadev Vihar Square, near Janata Maidan, Atharanala, Puri, VIP road, Puri and Cuttack - BBSR NH.

To be eligible, parties must possess a hoarding at the specified locations. Minimum size of the hoardings should be 20' X 10'. The applicants should also posses a license from any competent authority. Relevant documents to this effect will have to be submitted along with the bids.

Before assessing the technical bids, OTDC authorities, will inspect the hoardings and evaluate them based on their location, size and visibility.

The quoted prices will be converted into ‘per square feet’ rate for the purpose of comparison. Size of the hoarding will also form a parameter for the evaluating the price bids.

Applicants shall be required to deposit the EMD of Rs 5,000 in the form of a demand draft favouring Managing Director, OTDC Ltd, drawn on any nationalised bank. Applicants shall be required to quote location-wise prices in specified format for one year only. The prices quoted shall be exclusive of taxes, but inclusive of transportation, mounting and other related charges.

The flex to be mounted shall be provided by OTDC. The offers in sealed envelopes, super scribed ‘Technical bid’ and ‘Price bid’ for hiring of hoardings should reach the office of the Managing Director, OTDC Ltd, Panthanivas (old block), Lewis Road, Bhubaneswar - 751 014, latest by 1 pm on August 25, 2010. Technical bids shall be opened at 3 pm the same day.
