OOH Media in strategic partnership with IIT Bombay’s Techfest 2008

OOH Media has tied up with IIT Bombay’s Techfest 2008 as the exclusive out-of-home partner. Techfest, which begins from January 25, is the annual international science and technology festival of IIT Bombay, which provides a platform for a confluence of students, academia and the industry.

With an array of tech-glitzy events like Technholix, Laser Floyd and Pyromania, a lecture series with speakers like Jimmy Wales and Dr R K Pachauri, and contests like Analogic, Techfest promises to be a class apart.

“This year, Techfest is the first science and technology festival to be associated with an out-of-home media company. Techfest is proud of its association with OOH Media,” said Parasvil Patel, Media Manager, Techfest 2008.

Ishan Raina, CEO, OOH Media, said, “IIT is one of the world’s best technology brands and has made India proud across several global organisations. I hope our association with IIT for this festival is the beginning of a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”

With over 1,000 screens in Mumbai alone, OOH Media has extended its support in terms of promoting the Techfest in select relevant locations like Cinemax, Inorbit, Crossword, Hypercity, and Sterling Multiplex, among others, in Mumbai alone.

This apart, promos will run in TG-oriented locations like select ITES, cafes, malls, bookstores, etc., across Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Indore, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Amritsar and Nashik. OOH Media has plugged in its exclusive ‘Sounds Good’ contest, wherein the winner would be given a 32 inch LCD/plasma TV. There would also be other on-the-spot contests, wherein OOH Media would sponsor prizes like wristband pen drives and digital album cubes.
