OOH Media executes launch campaign for Sony YRF channel

The long awaited tie-up of Yash Raj Films (YRF) and Sony Television is finally on paper with the Sony YRF Channel to go on air in early 2010. OOH Media has executed a launch campaign across cities and clusters for the channel, which will be for a period of three weeks.

Commenting on the campaign, Fabian Cowan, General Manager, Sales - West, OOH Media, said, “OOH Media provides a platform to promote the new channel and its shows to the viewers, thus making audiences aware about it by reaching them wherever they are.”

The offering from Sony YRF will be distinct in look, feel, colour, sound and language, with fresh, contemporary and engaging storylines. The shows will reflect the dreams, aspirations and passion of today’s young India and attuned to deliver a unique and novel television viewing experience, which will not only appeal to the existing viewers, but bring new viewers to television. The shows combine the best of modern technology, scale and the exceptional story telling skills of YRF, both fiction and non-fiction content.

With huge marketing spends in television and outdoor, the channel has signed on OOH Media for promoting the same spanning across cities and clusters like malls, multiplexes, lifestyle, etc., in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Jaipur, among others, to promote the show at locations where people spend most if their time when they are out of home.
