Ogilvy Activation, the out of home unit of Ogilvy & Mather, has been doing a unique OOH innovation in Pune to promote the International Hutch Marathon, which will be held on November 26. This initiative was unveiled a week back and has been executed by the Ogilvy Landscapes team.
Elaborating on the campaign, Nabendu Bhattacharyya, Country Head-Landscapes & Signscapes, Ogilvy Activation, said, "We picked up an interactive mode to promote the Marathon. We have created a platform on a billboard and placed a treadmill on it with a man running on this treadmill for three hours in the morning and three hours in the evening to attract the attention of Puneites and encourage them to take part in the Marathon. We have put up a total 25 billboards, two of which feature a man running on a treadmill."
"It is an interactive activity. It's a campaign which is connected to the health of the people and encouraging them to take part in the Marathon. The campaign has created a lot of hype and several people have shown interest in participating in it. It connects with the people," claimed Bhattacharyya.
