North Western Railway, Jaipur div, invites tenders for ad rights for 1 year

North Western Railway, Jaipur division, has invited sealed tenders from advertising agencies and other interested parties for awarding sole ad rights for a period of one year. The ad-rights are being offered on a variety of display formats, including glow signs and sign boards in 43 railway stations of Cluster 11.

The total display area being offered is 6,294 sq. ft, out of which an area of 1,740 sq. ft has been allocated for glow signs, while 4,554 sq. ft has been allocated for sign boards.

To be eligible for the contract, the applicants should have a minimum experience of two years in the field of commercial advertising. The annual turnover of the applicants should be 50 per cent of the first year’s reserve price.

The contract shall be awarded initially for a period of one year and can be renewed for another four years on a year-to-year basis, subject to an annual escalation of 10 per cent in the license fees. The reserve price for the first year has been kept at Rs 9.3 lakh.

The earnest money deposit (EMD) required for this tender is Rs 18,600. The EMD should be deposited in the form of DD/ FDR/ Banker’s cheque, drawn in favour of the Senior Divisional Finance Manager, North Western Railway, Jaipur.

Tender forms can be obtained from the office of the Divisional Commercial Manager, NW Railway, Jaipur, on payment of Rs 1,000 on any working day. The tender forms can also be downloaded from the website. However, in that case, a demand draft/ banker’s cheque of Rs 1,000 favouring the Senior Divisional Finance Manager, NW Railway, Jaipur, should be submitted along with the bid.

Duly completed tenders should be put in the specific tender box available in the tender room at the DRM’s office, Jaipur. The tenders can be submitted up to 3 pm on November 25, 2010. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.15 pm.
