Mudra’s OOH division Primesite receives ISO 9001:2000 certification

Mudra’s out-of-home division Primesite has received the ISO 9001:2000 certification, the first Indian OOH agency to get this certification. Oslo, Norway headquartered independent foundation Det Norske Veritas (DNV) has awarded the ISO certification to Primesite for its excellence in design, process flow management and business development in the field of visual merchandising, retail design/execution and strategic visual communication for special environments.

Primesite completed the certification process in 10 months, passing several on-site inspections and demonstrating that its documented processes and its India operations fully complied with the stringent ISO standards.

Commenting on receiving the ISO certification, Mudra Marketing Services CEO, R Lakshminarayanan, said, “We believe in providing the best to our clients by implementing an effective quality management system that will make us better focused in meeting our customers’ requirements. This certification means that our customers are assured of our commitment to the highest standards of operations. It’s indeed a huge achievement for Primesite.”

Primesite President, Indrajit Sen, added, “We are the first Indian company to be certified for visual merchandising, retail design and execution and strategic visual communication. Our customers, employees and partners will benefit as a result of this certification that validates the industry’s most exacting requirements for quality procedures. By means of achieving this certification, we have underscored our commitment to distinction in our industry, as well as every aspect of our business.”

“This certification means participation and a major commitment from Primesite employees. With a national network of teams and customers around the country, these unambiguous and concise procedures will guide us in conducting business more efficiently and partner with our customer's initiatives,” said Primesite, General Manager, Kaushik Chakravorty, who was also the management representative for the OOH agency’s ISO implementation endeavour.

In its evaluation, DNV acknowledged that Primesite had achieved standards of excellence in the areas of business development, designing, vendor management, operations and maintenance, customer focus, leadership, people involvement, process excellence and continuous process improvement.
