MMRDA invites bids for ad display

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has invited sealed bids from agencies for leasing out rights for display of advertisements on Navghar flyover at Mulund (East) on Eastern Express highway in Mumbai. The total display space being offered through this tender is 220 sq. m. The contract shall be awarded for a period of two years. The bid security required for this tender is Rs 5 lakh.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at 12.30 pm on November 8, 2010, in the office of the Chief Engineer, Engineering Division, MMRDA, Bandra - Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai.

As per the eligibility criteria, bidders must have an average annual turnover of Rs 2 crore during the last three financial years. Further, the bidders must have solvency of Rs 1 crore. Relevant documents to this effect will have to be submitted along with the bids.

Additionally, the agencies must be eligible and competent to enter into contracts under the Indian Contracts Act.

Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Chief Engineer, Engineering Division, 5th floor, MMRDA Building, up to November 24, 2010, between 10 am and 3 pm on all working days.

Bid documents will be issued on payment of Rs 10,000. This amount can be paid through a demand draft favouring ‘MMRD FUND’, drawn from any nationalised or scheduled bank, payable at Mumbai.

Duly completed bids will have to be submitted latest by 1 pm on November 30, 2010. The tenders will be opened the same day at 3 pm.
