Milestone Brandcom’s retail arm Milestone Lastmile in expansion mode

Milestone Brandcom has strengthened its retail marketing division Milestone Lastmile to increase its footprint nationally. Milestone Lastmile was launched in the western region a year back and already services some of the leading clients such as Barclays Bank, Dhanlakshmi Bank, ICICI, LG and Tata Indicom, to name a few. Milestone Brandcom will leverage its learning and network presence at the local level in context with the environment and shopper profile to provide a complete experience stimulating brand sales.

Talking about the expansion news, Nabendu Bhattacharyya, Founder & Managing Director, Milestone Brandcom, said, “We needed to expand to make our service offerings across India for existing clients’ as well potential client base. All brands need marketing solutions hence integration is the need of the hour. Milestone Brandcom with over 70 brands on board is the ideal platform for brand to expect the full service offering. We are looking at high end of retail designing and implementation in line with international retail designing and solution while every foreign brand is looking at India as the growing consumption destination. We would be looking at investment in the space by creating world-class production set up, which will create a differentiator. At one end we would provide designing, consultancy the other end we would create production set up for us to have quality offerings under one roof.”

To lead the retail division, Milestone Brandcom has brought on board Atul Maheshwari as VP and National Head Milestone Last Mile. “It is a pleasure to have Atul on board to head the Las mile wing. With 17 years rich experience in sales & retail marketing and recognized for tailoring the best integrated approaches to last mile marketing, he is well aligned with the agency’s vision to offer creative & result driven solutions to clients.

On his new role, Maheshwari said, “It's a special feeling to be entrusted with leading a retail division with Milestone Brandcom. Stimulating brand sales for clients remain our common objective and my personal energies, along with the team, will be devoted towards realizing this. We aim to create a repute of turning great ideas into exceptional experiences that will trigger desired responses and finally results.” He will be based out of Delhi, but his concentration will be across three prime markets, Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore and will be present across India with 30 member team.

Maheshwari has over 17 years of experience in the retail business. Prior to joining Milestone Brandcom, he was General Manager at PrimeRetail (the retail services arm of Mudra Max), taking care of retail business across North, South & east India operations, prior to which he had spent over four years with Ogilvy & Mather.
