Publicitas, the Swiss media consultancy, which has been in business in India for the last 10 years through its company Mediascope Publicitas, is expanding its scope of services in the Indian market with the launch of its out-of-home business.
Robin Carruthers will be spearheading Mediascope Publicitas’ OOH business as its Managing Director. Carruthers had started his career in Trikaya Grey (now Grey Worldwide) as a media planner. After gaining experience in a variety of roles at various OOH agencies, he joined Clear Channel India as its National Sales Head and went on to become CEO for India.
On joining the new OOH business, Carruthers said, “Publicitas globally, and Mediascope Publicitas in India have identified OOH as a key opportunity to expand their services to clients and advertisers. It will also widen their reach into the Indian market. I am really excited to be a part of the team launching this business and am determined to make Mediascope Publicitas one of the top three OOH agencies in the country.”
Carruthers will lead a team of professionals, each of whom has experience in outdoor media – either in strategising, planning, buying or implementing outdoor advertising for a cross section of brands across various target segments and industries.
