LiveMedia launches digital marketing arm ‘LiveDigital’

LiveMedia, the digital out-of-home media company, has launched its new initiative ‘LiveDigital’. The arm will focus on mobile marketing and services across various mobile channels including voice, text, rich media and video. With mobile phones having emerged as a comprehensive medium having the largest reach, LiveDigital is slated to bring innovative solutions for its clients and the mobile users, using a mix of technology and creativity. LiveDigital will build and provide integrated marketing solutions for Brands using the mobile platform and also build communities through ad funded content and services on mobiles.

Commenting on the launch of LiveDigital, Rajan Mehta, Founder & CEO, LiveMedia said, "As the world moves towards smart phones, we think it is the right time to kickoff our mobile initiative. Currently mobile marketing is seen as spam based on the plethora of SMSes we get. Our endeavour is to change this definition by providing brands and users with a pleasurable experience through relevant and high quality content.”

He further added, “We strongly believe in mobile marketing and have got some of the best people from the industry to lead this initiative.”

Anuj Kumar who has earlier worked with Air2Web and Mobile2Win and was steering their mobile marketing initiatives has been roped in as a Senior Vice President. He has been instrumental in conceiving and implementing some well recognised and successful mobile marketing campaigns run by Companies like Hero Honda, Yahoo, American Express, and DishTV, among others.

Ivon Parmanand has been appointed as the Vice President, Sales & Marketing, LiveDigital. Parmanand comes with over 20 years of experience in Sales and Marketing with Companies like Godfrey Philips, Mobile2Win, Air2Web and Spice Digital where he was heading Mobile Advertising.

The company has already bagged and implemented some interesting mobile campaigns from Companies like Microsoft, Max New York Life, IPol and Maruti.

With a gradual shift taking place from conventional to emerging media, LiveMedia along with LiveDigital is positioning itself to offer targeted and integrated marketing solutions to its clients keeping in view the changed lifestyles and media consumption habits of today’s consumers.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
