Laqshya Media provided OOH support to Maharashtra Government for its week-long cultural festival, ‘Mumbai Saptarang’, which was held between January 22 and 28, 2010. The event was organised by the Cultural Affairs Department as part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the state of Maharashtra. Bank of Maharashtra was the title sponsor for the festival.
Laqshya Media provided billboards in Mumbai for 10 days to execute the ‘Mumbai Saptarang’ campaign. As part of this campaign, 10 billboards were put up at strategic locations across Mumbai at Bandra, Santacruz, Juhu, Vile Parle, JVPD Kaifee Azmee Garden, Versova, Andheri New Link Road, Malad Inorbit and two at Kandivali.
‘Mumbai Saptarang’ showcased Maharashtra's arts, culture and traditions at seven different venues across Mumbai, which include the Gateway of India, NCPA, Pu. La. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy, Nare Park-Parel, Jambori Maidan-Worli, Government Colony Maidan- Bandra, Kannamwar Nagar-Vikroli and Mumbai University's Complex at Kalina. Over 250 artistes from all over the state presented their art at the festival. There were also artistes from all over the country, who took part in the festival.
A spokesperson from the Cultural Affairs Department, Government of Maharashtra, said, “We are glad that Laqshya Media decided to partner with us and offer their support for the celebrations. Mumbai Saptarang received an overwhelming response this year and we will be happy to partner with Laqshya Media for such initiatives in the future as well.”
