Jagran Engage, the OOH arm of Jagran Group, has tied up with several companies for marketing duties. The company has recently tied up with Selvel Publicity for marketing their outdoor properties in Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Hyderabad. They have also associated itself with Surat-based Venus Ads for marketing their outdoor properties in Surat and Kolkata.
Jagran Engage has also tied up with M’Cons for marketing all the centre-median four-sided glow cubes, a brand new backlit media located at Worli and Linking Road in Mumbai, which are prime locations. These are among the most prominent displays, and have perhaps the highest traffic density in Mumbai.
In addition, the company has bagged the sole rights for a five-hoarding series at Marine Drive in Mumbai, which arguably is one of the most attractive and expensive properties in outdoor advertising in Mumbai. This is the series of hoardings on which Sunsilk had done their brand campaign for its five different hair colours, and has since been used by The Times of India for almost three years.
Indrajit Sen, COO and Business Head, Jagran Engage, said, “We found that we gelled with the companies well and therefore decided to work together in terms of marketing their outdoor properties. There is an enormous synergies existing between these organisations and us. We complemented each other in terms of core performance areas. It is a win-win situation for both parties.”
The company had been working on striking these alliances for quite some time now, and having bagged them, Jagran Engage is looking at more tie-ups in the future.
When queried regarding the revenue sharing agreement, Sen said, “The terms are confidential and are not subject to discussion. But certainly it is going to mutually benefit both the parties. It is going to strengthen the relationship between both the partners.”
Jagran Engage now has key sites in Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Kanpur, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Surat, besides huge coverage among the tier II and III towns in North India.
