Jagran Engage, the OOH arm of the Jagran Group, has announced major expansion plans. The company has also created some innovative outdoor solutions in recent times. The company, which currently has 11 offices in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Patna, Bangalore and Chennai, is planning to foray into Madhya Pradesh in September this year.
Speaking to exchange4media, Indrajit Sen, COO and Business Head, Jagran Engage, said, “We have acquired advertising rights for buses. We have properties to market in Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, Bangalore and Delhi. We are targeting the whole of Northern India. We are targeting all the local buses in Lucknow.”
Sen further said, “We have overhead panels, foot overbridges in Ludhiana. There will be hoardings, panels and upgrading in the next six months. We are also working towards more displays in Delhi. We have created a dedicated team to sell advertising and retail points at multiplexes and malls as these have an ideal audience for any advertising exercise.”
“The biggest gap in outdoor industry is research information. We are working towards developing a huge bank of information that we can offer to our clients about the audience, numbers and as well as quality and as much depth as available for other conventional media. Lot of this information is proprietary to support our own sites and properties. We are also participating in other projects that we hope to generate more information in the public domain than would be industry wide studies,” Sen added.
