‘Oxford of the East’ and an upcoming hub for numerous companies and diverse industries, the OOH market in Pune is set to be corporatised. Laqshya Media Pvt Ltd, with OOH assets pan-India, will now market more than 400 out-of-home media assets in Pune, including billboards, pole kiosks, traffic booths and mobile vans in Bund Garden Road, Kalyani Nagar, Yerwada, Kharadi, Kondhwa, Camp, Wakdewadi, SB Road, University Road, Baner, Aundh, Kothrud, and Bajirao Road, covering the length and breadth of the city.
Shashi Sinha, National Sales Head, Laqshya Media, told exchange4media, “Mumbai’s twin city, Pune, has shown a lot of promise as a lifestyle destination and has attained significant importance in the media plans. At Laqshya, we have always believed in the highest level of customer service, and we will offer the same when it comes to servicing our advertisers. This, we will support by marketing premium sites in the city.”
Outdoor medium has long been seen as a significant vehicle to reach out to target customers with different media being popular amongst different industries. Pole kiosks offer frequency and immediacy; traffic booths and other transit media ensure repeated exposure, especially in city like Pune, which is concentric in nature unlike Mumbai.
Sinha further said, “Laqshya shares excellent rapport with large agencies across the country and national clients, who have been trying to forge a seamless network and access to the Pune market. This move has been largely applauded by our advertisers and agencies, and most of them have already shown interest. With the lead time for executing a campaign reducing by the day, it has come as a respite to media professionals. Our aim would be to continue offering innovative and professionally integrated OOH services to brands.”
With the inclusion of Pune, Laqshya will now have media assets in 14 cities across India, also international presence in Sri Lanka and Dubai.
