Graphisads recently carried out an outdoor campaign for MTNL’s 3G Jadoo service in Delhi and NCR region. This is the first time that MTNL hired an OOH agency in Delhi. Graphisads had bagged the contract following a tender called for it. Though the account size couldn’t be ascertained at the time of filing this report, it is believed to be substantial.
The week-long campaign had commenced on November 1.
Mukesh Gupta, MD, Graphisads, said, “Outdoor media is the foremost choice of the telecom sector today. We presented a comprehensive outdoor plan before MTNL, which also included branding of MTNL through wall wrappings of their buildings. Thus, we outdid the competition and won the outdoor contract.”
He further said, “Excellent locations and positioning of the hoardings are the major factors attributed to the success of this campaign. Graphisads, which owns an impressive range of sites in Delhi and NCR areas, is an expert in the field and is known for offering most vantage sites at the most competitive price to its clients.”
“The telecom industry, the major driver of Indian economy, has been quick to acknowledge and capitalise on the opportunity presented by the outdoor media. The trend is here to stay,” Gupta asserted. By a rough estimate, the telecom industry is reportedly patronising more than 50 per cent of the outdoor media today.
