Employees’ State Insurance Corporation invites bid from ad agencies for empanelment

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has invited applications from full service ad agencies for empanelment. The empanelled agencies will be responsible for creating and executing promotional activities for the Corporation’s headquarters in New Delhi and other field units located all over India. The scope will include institutional media campaigns and advertisements of ESIC and Ministry of Labour and Employment.

This empanelment opportunity is being offered for a period of three years, with a scope of further extension for another year, based on the performance and service of the agencies.

To be eligible for empanelment, applicants should be fully accredited to the Indian Newspapers Society (INS) continuously for the last five years. Further, the agencies should be accredited to any one of either IBF, AAAI, DAVP, Doordarshan or Akashwani (AIR).

Additionally, agencies should have minimum annual turnover of Rs 15 crore for the last three financial years, and should have a minimum annual billing of Rs 10 crore from Government clients, Departments, Central or State PSUs, excluding the business with ESIC.

The agencies should have executed assignments involving designing and publication of advertisement campaigns, corporate brochures, exhibitions and preparation of corporate/ documentary films, etc. Agencies should have a full-fledged office in Delhi for the past five years with a full-time staff strength of at least 20 people.

Applicant agencies shall be required to submit a demand draft of Rs 10,000 drawn in favour of ESI Account No.1, payable at New Delhi, along with the completed applications.

Interested agencies can submit their applications up to 12 pm of December 6, 2010. The selected agencies will be intimated in due course of time.
