Bright Outdoor Media Pvt Lts, which had recently been accredited with ISO-2000 certification and ICRA four-star ratings, has won the tender for 120 billboards across 12 zones that come under the Mira Road-Bhayander Municipality in Mumbai. As per the guidelines, Bright will have the outdoor advertising rights for all the 120 billboards for a period of three years, which can be extended for another two years. In return, the statutory authority will earn revenues of Rs 4,000 per billboard per month, as against the earlier amount of Rs 1,500 per billboard.
In an official communiqué with exchange4media, Yogesh Lakhani, Director, Bright Outdoor Media, said, “This is a big win for us as we have won the tender by defeating all the major players in this domain. Secondly, all these billboards will not be affected by the new by-laws that are soon to be implemented across Mumbai, as they do not come under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).”
Lakhani also disclosed that his company had also bagged the marketing rights for 12 mobile vans (10 mobile vans on the Western Express Highway and two at the Mahim Causeway).
With the latest win, Bright Outdoor Media now has a total of 1,460 hoardings across Mumbai.
