Bihar Transport Corp invites bids for empanelment of ad agency for it buses

The Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) has invited bids under the ‘two-packet system’ from ad agencies for empanelment for planning and conducting of ads issued by BSRTC, utilising the Corporation’s buses and bus stands for advertising purposes. The EMD required is Rs 10,000.

The bids have been invited for two categories:

Advertising on around 400 BSRTC buses: The agencies will be required to quote division wise rates for taking exclusive rights for putting up ads for a period of two years.

Advertising at around 21 bus terminals/ stands all over the state: The agencies will be required to quote division wise rates for taking exclusive rights for putting up over 70 hoardings at each of the specified bus terminal/ stand for a period of three years.

The different divisions include those at Patna, Bhagalpur, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Purnea and Chhapra.

The financial bids for each of these categories will have to be submitted separately along with a common technical bid.

To be eligible for empanelment, the applicants should have achieved an average annual turnover of Rs 50 lakh and the experience of conducting the similar projects. Documentary evidence to this effect need to be submitted along with the bid.

The EMD of Rs 10,000 will have to be deposited through a demand draft drawn in favour of – Chief Accounts Officer, Bihar State Road Transport Corporation – and payable at Patna. Completed tender forms need to be submitted at the Office of Stores & Purchase, Bihar State Road Transport Corporation. Pariwahan Bhawan, Birchand Patel Path, Patna, on or before 3 pm on August 13, 2010. The tenders will be opened at the same day at 4 pm.
