Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation invites bids for skywalks

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (Mahanagar Seva Sadan) has invited bids from OOH companies for the construction of skywalks on a build-operate-transfer basis at various locations for Janmarg (Bus Rapid Transit System) in the city. The locations include those at Narol, Nehru Nagar, Jodhpur cross roads, Mani Nagar and places near Big Bazaar.

As per the eligibility criteria specified, interested parties should have executed similar projects in any major city in India or abroad. Documentary evidence, along with names of cities in which these projects have been executed, will have to be submitted along with the bid.

Additionally, the interested parties will be required to submit their financial statements for the last three financial years along with the bid. Further, they will be required to present their detailed proposal related to capability and experience to the corporation.

The applicants may download complete details from the website and submit their proposals comprising of ‘technical capabilities’ and ‘experience in the same field’, in sealed envelopes latest by 4 pm on July 12, 2010.

The bid will open on July 12, 2010 at 5 pm in the office of additional city engineer (BRTS & Traffic), Sardar Patel Bhavan, Danapith, Ahmedabad.
