The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids in two parts (technical and financial) for installation of three 32-inch LCD/ plasma TV screens in the terminal building of the Maharana Pratap Airport at Udaipur in lieu of advertising rights. The contract shall be awarded for a period of three years. The minimum license fee has been fixed at Rs 4,000 per month per screen, while the EMD required is Rs 14,400.
The applicants should have the overall infrastructure related to entertainment televisions in their own name. No tie-up arrangements will be considered for the purpose of experience or running of contract, and the cost of cable for installation and cable operators shall have to be borne by the licensee.
Firms and individuals having the required infrastructure, and with minimum one year's experience in providing identical entertainment services at railway stations, sea ports, bus terminals or renowned multiplexes (marketing complexes) shall be eligible for the contract.
The license fee shall be subject to 10 percent annually compounded escalation for the subsequent years, however, the security deposit amount shall be equal to six months license fee offered by the party for the first year.
Tender documents having all details can be obtained from office of the Airport Director, Airports Authority of India, Maharana Pratap Airport, Dabok, Udaipur, Rajasthan on making a non-refundable payment of Rs. 281 by demand draft in favour of AAI, Udaipur on any working day between 10am to 5pm from August 03 to August 16, 2010.
The tender documents can also be downloaded from the Websites of AAI: www.airportsindia.org.in OR www.aai.aero and tenders made on such a form shall be considered valid for participation in the tender process. Parties shall pay the prescribed cost of tender document (including service tax) by draft on or before submission of the tender documents.
Tender documents, duly completed in all respects, should reach the office of the above office latest by 3pm on August 23, 2010 either by registered post, courier or in person.
The technical and financial bids must be sealed in two different envelopes marked 'A' and 'B' respectively, and both the envelopes are to be sealed in a master envelope.
Envelope 'A' containing the technical bid shall be opened on August 23, 2010 at 3:30pm in the presence of the interested bidders or their authorized representatives.
The date of opening of the financial bid shall be intimated separately in due course.
