‘Om Shanti Om’ (OSO), which has been in the news for various reasons ranging from lead actor Shah Rukh Khan’s six packs to debutant Deepika Padukone, has tied up with several brands such as Shopper’s Stop, Kodak and MTV Lycra Awards. The movie has also got media support with Mid-Day inviting SRK to be the guest editor on the eve of his birthday.
The tie-up with MTV Lycra Awards has been showcased in the unique look of the movie through a fashion show, highlighting the style of OSO. Commenting on the association with the movie, Ashish Patil, General Manager, MTV India and Vice President-Creative and Content, said, “Style is something integral to Indian films, and films are the one thing that hugely impact style. I am sure that this association will show good signs for both MTV and the movie.”
Kodak is currently running a promotional offer, ‘Ajab Si’, for OSO across all its outlets. According to the offer, the winner gets to meet SRK on a Bollywood set. Mid-Day got SRK to be its guest editor on the eve of the actor’s birthday. The paper features both ads and content of the movie, which releases on Diwali.
