Winners of FAB Awards 2009 announced

Winners of the 11th International Food and Beverage Creative Awards, The FAB Awards, for 2009 have been announced. Leading the pack was Williams Murray Hamm London, who took the FABulous Award for ‘Agency of the Year’ in the entire Awards Programme and won two FAB Awards – ‘Jamie Oliver Food Kits Recipease’ in Brand Identity and in Packaging Design, and had a nomination for The Ryvita Range, also in Packaging Design.

The FABulous for Television Advertising jointly went to BBDO Duesseldorf for their campaign titled ‘Police Control and Garage’ for Wrigley’s Extra and to Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy, London for ‘Go on Lad’ done for Hovis. The FABulous Award for Digital and Interactive went to Outside Line London for ‘Milk Matters’ for Cravendale. No FABulous Awards were given across Press & Poster, and there were no FABulous Awards across Guerilla, Direct, Collateral & POS, Sales Promotion and Integrated this year.

In keeping with its stature as a truly international awards programme for creative excellence in Food and Drink, The FAB Awards’ 27 trophies for 2009 went to Agencies in three continents.

The winners were announced at an Awards Dinner in London was attended by several agencies from around the globe, who were accompanied by clients ranging from Premier Foods, Arla Foods, Pepsi, and Jamie Oliver Food, among others.
