The heat is on as deadline for EEMA 2013 approaches

Registrations and entries for EEMAX 2013 have gathered momentum with the July 20 deadline fast approaching. With entries flowing across the 26 categories, submission date for EEMAX was earlier extended from July 15 to July 20.

EEMAX 2013 has 26 categories out of which 23 will be judged by the esteemed jury panel, while three categories will be open for public voting. The awards cover the events and entertainment sector with categories such as Best Televised Event, Best Product Launch Ever, Best Wedding and Event of the Year, among others.

All the entries have a tough battle to win as they shall be scrutinised by the panel and judged against various parameters. The jury panel consists of industry stalwarts such as Ajay Kakkar, CMO, Aditya Birla group – Financial Services; Jyotsna Makkarcmo, Microsoft India; K Ramakrishnan, President - Marketing, Café Coffee Day; Nalin Kapoor, Senior GM and Group Head - Marketing, Hyundai Motor India; Raj Nayak, CEO, Colors - Viacom18; Ravi Bharadwaj, Executive Director – Marketing, Dell India; Tarun Katial, CEO, Reliance Broadcast Network; and Tushar Vyas, Managing Partner – South Asia, GroupM.

Meanwhile, participants who wish to be part of EEMAGINE 2013 need to enroll by July 20 to get an exemption of 20 per cent in entry fee.

EEMAGINE 2013 will witness the presence of industry veterans such as Robert Norman, Music Agent, CAA; Roshan Abbas, MD, Encompass Events; Jaya Row, Researcher and Lecturer, Vedanta; and Brian Tellis, Founder, Fountain Head Promotions & Events and President, EEMA, among many others.

EEMAX Awards and EEMAGINE are initiatives established by EEMA (Event and Entertainment Management Association) to bring the large events and entertainment industry together to discuss issues, recognise talent and grow. EEMA was established in 2008.
