‘Media Quotient – what’s your MQ?’, the Media Quiz 2009, a first of its kind initiative from exchange4media, had generated quite a buzz in Delhi and Kolkata. Mumbai will now be hosting the grand finale of the Media Quiz 2009 on May 22, 2009. The two winning teams from the Delhi and Kolkata rounds would be competing with the two winning teams from Mumbai.
Star News is the main sponsor for the event, while Mumbai Mirror is the associate sponsor. Encompass is the event partner.
The winning teams from Delhi were Team Samridhi and Team Krew Kut Klan, while the winners of the Kolkota round were Teams JWT and Cognizant/TCS. The two teams from Mumbai that would take part in the finals would be selected prior to the grand finale, making it six regional teams fighting for the top honours.
Quizmasters Sam Balsara, CMD, Madison India and Vikram Sakhuja CEO, GroupM, have lined up an interesting and brain teasing fare for the participants. Innocean Worldwide’s B Sridhar has conceptualised the whole concept of Media Quiz.
The Media Quiz seeks to bring together media professionals on a common platform to network and interact, while simultaneously competing to win. It is open to anyone from advertising and media agencies, marketing companies and media students.
The quiz covers all aspects of the Media discipline – people, places, stories of origin, research, the business and its connection with Indian and bits of global media.
The prizes for the Media Quiz have been sponsored by Nokia E-Series phones, KFC meal coupons, DT cinema tickets for Delhi, and Reebok vouchers, among others.
